CAR NEWS AND MISC. STUFF!
Still haven't modified the car. I was planning on installing Turbo Tie Rods and getting car corner balanced BUT THE BIG NEWS IS......

Mitch Rossi from European Car Magazine is going to be writing an article on the CS and featuring my car. I am now going to keep it stock. The only item that was not stock (steering wheel) will be replaced with one that I got from Brian Pierson(thanks again Brian)
It's Labor day weekend 2003 already and a lot has happpened in the CS world in the past 6 months.
Steven Darnell and the good blokes in the UK have started a CS registry. Tom Trudell has spearheaded one here in North America. We have added the info on a lot of cars now. I chose NOT to publish the registry here for privacy concerns, but PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE A CS.

I have put all my personal info on this site and I hope that people will be open to at least stepping forward that they own the car and at least give VIN # confirmation, mileage and the whereabouts of the car.

My CS has definitely turned into a garage queen, but I plan on meeting fellow west coast owners at the German Autofest Sept 13th and 14th. Whether or not you are a CS owner, make sure to stop by and say hi!

that's all for now!

Future Upgrades?
I'm not sure if I want to do too much to the CS since I will not track the car OR drive everyday. I would like to find a nice set of matching 8x16" Fuchs for the rear and move the 7's to the front.

Wheel Enhancement has an original pair, but they are $1,300 and it's not really worth it to me at this time.

Turbo tie rod installation is easily changed back to original. What is really interesting to me about the history of the car is that it was autocrossed, but no modifications other than the steering wheel were made. Knowing that previous owner races cup cars in Europe, it would seem to me that he would at least touched the allignment and suspension. The strut tower and allignment points have never been touched. Brian Pierson went over the car with a fine tooth comb and was really surprised that it was never altered.

Would this be considered "unmolested"? I guess so...I hope that if I ever do sell this car the buyer is not TOO anal because I will let Steve Alarcon make whatever changes he feel will help handling. When I drive the car, I want to REALLY enjoy it.

Porsche script seats!
