UK CLUB SPORT AND GREAT ARTICLE COMPARING CORVETTE AND CLUB SPORT!!
I was looking everywhere for this article...I saw it one time on e-bay and was too cheap to spend for it. Thanks to scouring the internet, I found it for free AND I didn't have to go through the pain of scanning the article.

UK Club Sport
Lot of other differences vs. NA and other European CS's, but first thing you see is Carrera and CS on the door. |
I dig the white and red...kind of reminds me of the great '73 RS---------------->
I was in heaven when in London earlier this year....the cars were awesome! Why do they get all the good stuff? Have driven right hand drive, but never anything nice. |

Great Article except....
the "press" still doesn't get it! Sure, it's not fair to compare to a fully loaded 911 for the same price BUT they do it time and time again with the Club Sport. |
Page 2...are they going to bash the CS? --------------------->
This is my good friend Hal. I took this picture on his birthday. I think he likes to be in pictures.

CAR AND DRIVER WRITER WAS A LITTLE KINDER THOUGH
At least he admits the performance is better than regular 911....wait the old 0-60 time thingy. You mean to tell me that EVO and Porsche World can get more than a half a second off the time with Euro version? An 86 vs. 88, forget the CS version and no difference-....seems funny to me? |
911 vs. Vette....no contest in my mind! Scroll over for more----------------------------->

Willow and Canyon runs....right in my backyard.
1:44 in the CS? I have not been on the big track yet, but that seems a little off again. Sounds to me like they are afraid of the car and don't understand HOW to drive it. I am not an expert, but why would you back off the throttle in the turns. I was also taught to always brake in a straight line. Maybe they are talking about trail braking? You can do that in any car, but from my experience it's all about getting the tail around with a little lift (depending on the turn) 911's take some getting used too for sure, but I bet Stewart Howe would be in the high 1:30's and with a little practice, I think I could turn a 1:44 |
